Your mission

As an Event Specialist (m/f/d), you will create unforgettable event experiences and use your organisational talent and creativity to raise our profile and generate valuable leads. You will independently develop innovative concepts for various event formats, manage their implementation and analyse their success.

  • Strategic annual planning and budgeting for events together as a team, aligned with the global marketing and corporate strategy.
  • Planning, marketing, organising and executing online and in-person events, including local conferences, global trade fairs, webinars and networking events - with the aim of increasing our brand awareness, generating qualified leads and strengthening existing customer relationships.
  • Developing compelling messages and presentations, creating landing pages and email campaigns and designing effective customer activation strategies.
  • Defining and tracking relevant KPI targets for continuous performance analysis and optimisation of events.
  • Developing efficient standard operating procedures to maximise event ROI.
  • Coordinating event logistics and ensuring professional participant support.
  • Working closely with the sales team, supporting internal and external event speakers and managing agencies and suppliers on a global level to ensure smooth and successful implementation.

Your profile

  • Completed studies in marketing, business administration, event management, communication sciences or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in event management, ideally in the B2B sector with products that require explanation
  • Strong communication skills, negotiation skills and initiative
  • Organisational talent with a strong customer and service orientation
  • Confident handling of Word, PowerPoint and Excel and ideally practical experience with Salesforce, Wistia, GoToWebinar, Asana and Typo3
  • High quality standards and a feel for trends and innovations in the event sector
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
